Callum Hudson-Odoi has made known to the public on Thursday night that he is recuperated from the viral virus. Callum is a Chelsea FC player who tested positive to the coronavirus.
In the video which he shared on his Instagram, he disclosed that he is following the laid out health guidelines stated out for the virus and has hopes of getting back to playing with his team in no time.
“Thank you for all your good wishes, as I said in the video I’m feeling good and hope to see you all soon”
Chelsea had partially shut down their training facilities following the discovery of him testing positive to the deadly virus. The premiere league meeting with Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge that was slated for Saturday is most like going to be moved forward.
Frank Lampard’s pre-match news conference has also been put on hold by Chelsea. However, the entire men’s squad, coaching staff, and backroom staff are to join Hudson-Odoi in self-isolation.
The 19-year-old footballer in the premier league is the first player to confirm testing positive publicly to the virus which has claimed 10 lives in the UK and infected at least 596.
A couple of Premier League teams has also sent their players into self-isolation. 3 players in Leicester City has been confirmed to have had the symptoms; this was confirmed by the manager Brendan Rodgers.
