Kyle D. Amaker, the founder, and CEO of Go Black Own, LLC, a company that specializes in Internet-related services and products for Black-owned businesses, has created history by launching an all-in-one mobile app to support and foster Black entrepreneurship.
The native software provides supporters and Black-owned business owners around the country with a centralized platform that allows them to conveniently do business together. The app is available for free download from the Apple IOS App Store and the Google Play Store.
“This is a platform designed by us, for us,” Kyle explains. “There is no other platform on the market that provides this combination of functionality.” It’s just different.”
On the Go Black Own smartphone app, supporters may search for Black-owned businesses, restaurants, hotels, and upcoming black events in their area. They can also keep up with breaking news and shop on the marketplace.
“This is the first marketplace of its sort.” Black-owned enterprises now have a platform where they can sell directly to supporters, from selling their products and/or services to selling tickets to black-owned events. Kyle says, “Our platform is a game-changer.”
Supporters will be able to speak with Black business owners directly through the app’s unique two-way messaging system, save their favorite shops, and make a wish list for products in the marketplace. They will also be able to read real-world reviews and share their own.
Over 7,700 Black-owned businesses are already featured on the app, with new firms being added on a daily basis.
