The Assistant Director Of Nigerian Presidential Villa Has Been Murdered

Laetitia Naankang Dagan has been gruesomely murdered by unknown assassins. She was an assistant director to the State House at Aso Rock, Abuja.

She was murdered at her apartment in Galadimawa, Abuja on Monday evening hours after she had returned from work.

The Assistant Director of Information for the statehouse Attah Esa issued a statement saying that Ms. Dagan left her office at the Presidential Villa around 20:00 hours. The murder took place at around 23:00 hours on Monday, February 7, 2020.

‘’ 47 year old Ms. Dagan from Plateau State, worked in her office on Monday till 8pm, but by 11pm, she was gruesomely murdered in her apartment by unknown persons.

“The permanent Secretary prayed God Almighty to comfort Ms. Dagan’s family, the entire Staff of State House, and grant the soul of the departed officer eternal rest”.

In reaction to this development, the Permanent Secretary, State House, Jalal Arabi, explained that the death and killing of Ms. Dagan as a painful loss, to not just her immediate family but also to the entire State House.

During a condolence visit to Ms. Dagan’s family, Arabi told her family members that “She was a dedicated, hard-working officer, and we all feel pained by her dastardly and untimely death”.

He also said: “We all share in your grief and pains, but be consoled by the fact that she lived a good life and contributed her best to the services of her nation”.

Arabi displayed a show of confidence in the Nigerian police force in finding out the people who murdered Ms. Dagan so that the law would take its course.
